Operations and Support Services offers a complete set of infrastructure services based largely on Microsoft technologies while leveraging DoIT provided central services as appropriate. This includes full-lifecycle workstation management, software installation and support, Office 365 E-mail, file storage, database services (SQL Server and Oracle), application hosting, web hosting, and a 24×7 help desk.

Calling the AIMS Help Desk connects you to a bunch of us who really know how all the pieces fit together. We're here for you from 7:15am to 5:00pm and have provisions for after-hours support, too. When any of us are not on the desk, we're still helping you with the more involved issues that take more than just a phone call. First and foremost, we are a customer service organization, and so we take your calls with a mindset of helping you fully so you can accomplish your work.
In Field Services we're all about the physical components of the AIMS environment. We research the best hardware solutions for our customers, then get it onto their desk. Working closely with the rest of the Operations & Support Team, we ensure the desktop hardware, software, and peripherals (like printers and such) are all working together as they should.
Although our operations center doesn't really look like SpaceX Launch Control, you might think it does looking at our individual work areas. We keep all the wheels turning in the right direction and jump in whenever they aren't. Security and user authorization also falls to us. When you have new staff, we make sure they can log in.
